This dresser was in pristine condition when I picked it up, but wood was an unfortunate dark brown color. I brightened up the piece using a light grey paint, and stained the legs of the dresser. The entire piece was sealed with several layers of water-based topcoat, and the drawer interiors were refreshed with furnishing wax.
