This converted vintage chest was an absolute showstopper at our first event!
The previous owners had this in their family for quite some time. The original design was very rustic, an aged look created with hammers and chains.
We filled in quite a bit of the imperfections while still trying to leave some of the piece's original charm.
We updated the face with a beautiful transfer and added a lift system to the inside.
This means you can conveniently raise up your tabletop to create a comfortable workspace or enjoy a cozy dinner.
There is so much amazing storage in this piece, making it perfect for all those spare blankets, pillows, or board games!
The top left side of this piece has a slight bowing, as shown in the listing photo. The inside was left original as it was in perfect condition and the wood just needed to be hydrated. This piece would work perfectly as a coffee table, at the end of your bed, or as a storage bench!
